Bollinger La Grande Annèe 2007 Brut

BOLLINGER

Considered as the prestige cuvée of the Bollinger maison, La Grande Année is produced only when it has been harvested with unsurpassed quality. The result of the incredible terroir of Aÿ and the masterful winemaking techniques of the chef de cave Gilles Descôtes, it is the non plus ultra of the Bollinger style. With a soft and complex structure, a characteristic that changes according to the thousandth of production, thanks to the grapes coming exclusively from Premiers and Grands Crus, it has a higher percentage of Pinot Noir than the Chardonnay and the character is felt!

Bollinger Extra Brut R.D. 2002

BOLLINGER

This great Champagne rests on its sediments for long years. The dégorgement is performed only when leaving the cellar. The result is a Champagne that sees its infinite aromas enhanced. Any other word for Bollinger's Extra Brut Champagne "R.D." 2002 would be superfluous: sublime.

Crystalline and brilliant yellow. The scents that reach the nose are intense and very deep, consisting of notes of cashew nuts, honeyed aromas and aromas that recall the undergrowth and the pan of mushrooms. Even in the mouth the aromas are complex and recall stone fruits, mocha, cocoa and truffle. The structure is extraordinary.

Bollinger Brut La Grande Annèe 2005

BOLLINGER

Champagne La Grande Année from the Champagne Bollinger winery grows in vineyards grown on the hills of Aÿ, in the Champagne region of France.

It is produced at 66% with Pinot Noir and 34% with Chardonnay grapes and the wine is aged in oak barrels and aged in the cellar for more than twice the time required by the denomination.

La Grande Année has a golden straw yellow color, a sign of maturity. The nose opens with hints of fruit in spirit and toasted bread, resulting from the aging in cask, subsequently enriched by shades of exotic spices and rhubarb. In the mouth it reveals a powerful but very soft perlage, with a remarkable structure and a long and persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany fish dishes, both raw and grilled, it is ideal in combination with shellfish, especially lobster. Also excellent with lamb and medium-aged cheeses, such as Parmesan.

Bollinger La Grande Annèe 2008 Brut

BOLLINGER

Champagne La Grande Année by Bollinger is the ultimate expression of the prestige of the Champagne house. It is produced only on exceptional occasions, when the balance between nature, man and the production process reaches an exceptional synergistic balance. This champagne represents the celebration of an exceptional vintage. The blend for its vinification is of great complexity. Composed of 70% of Pinot Nero grapes and 30% of Chardonnay grapes, it consists of 13 cru (vines). For the Pinot Noir are those deriving from the micro zonons of the denomination of Ay and Verzenay. While for the Chardonnay the selections come from: Avize, Chouilly and Mesnil-sur-Oger. In any case, only the Grand Crus (95%) is selected for this exceptional production, ie the very first harvest directly from the vine and 5% of Premier cru selection in (wooden crate). Fermentation takes place in special wooden barrels destined for this exceptional champagne. The vintage for Maison Bollinger was among the best of its existence. Very high quality of the grapes and the right degree of youth, together with the temperate climate with good ventilation and exposure as well as the generosity of the harvest that allowed the Champagne to express itself not only in taste but also in its ample and enveloping aromas.
